The National Community Rights Network
Empowering the Rights of Communities!
Recognizing the Rights of Nature!
Communities across the United States are threatened by an array of legalized harms - harms protected by our governmental, laws, and regulations. Residents seeking to protect their environment and community tackle industrial farming, pipelines, fracking, chemical trespass, and industrialized energy.
Rather than pouring limited resources into fighting single issue threats, the NCRN seeks to encourage, educate, and empower people to recognize a deeper, more widespread problem of a fixed system that often stands on the side of the polluters. Find more resources here.
There are currently 6 states that make up the National Community Rights Network: Colorado, Oregon, Ohio, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
